A Serving Community

Maranatha Newsletter

Maranatha Newsletter - click here readI have set before you an open door.

We are seeing the evidence of a mounting spiritual battle across the globe. Light is penetrating darkness. Things concealed for years and even hundreds of years are now being exposed. The powerful movement of God’s Spirit is illuminating the false and revealing truth….. Doors have opened for this Community over many years – doors of healing, doors of reconciliation, doors to speak with those in positions of authority, doors to represent those without a voice.

The March edition of the Maranatha Community Newsletter which is available for you to read on-screen (or print for your convenience) expands this theme and encourages us. There is also news of community initiatives and activity, and information about our Weekends and Retreats for 2015.

Fine Art Prints and Cards

Christine Garwood. Fine Art & Textiles

Christine GarwoodMaranatha member Christine Garwood is the artist who produced all the images for our book From Darkness into Light and for some of our recent booklets and publicity for local gatherings. She has more than 30 years experience in the art world as a freelance professional artist and art tutor, and a gift at expressing her worship of Christ through painting and other visual art forms, often incorporating biblical ideas relating to our human experience and to the elements around us – earth, air, fire and water.

Christine is now selling prints of many of her paintings, and cards, on her website and will give 25% of each sale to Maranatha. A4 laminated prints are £12.00 (including P&P) and cards are £2.75 (including P&P).

Northern Ireland visit

A small Maranatha team will be visiting different parts of Northern Ireland between 6th-11th March. We are greatly looking forward to being there and hope to meet many people during this short time.

We are especially delighted to tell you that Dennis Wrigley, our Co-Founder and Leader will be joining us for our gathering at Randalstown on Saturday, 10th March. (Click here for details). He will be sharing more of the vision that God has given to the Maranatha Community over recent years, together with Fr. Bill Keogh who will be with us throughout the week.

As we travel through the Province in March we will be listening carefully to what the Lord is saying to us as a Community through the people of Northern Ireland. We hope to visit prayer groups and individuals in different towns as we believe that the Body of Christ in Northern Ireland has a vital role to play in the healing of the nations. Please pray for our forthcoming visit.
